The lime light was on Winterhalter’s latest innovation - the UC series undercounter dishwashers, which the company officially launched in conjunction with FHM 2009.
The company describes its new models as 'dream machines', because a key source of ideas during their development was an in-depth survey of what customers wanted in their ideal, perfect machines. The UC Series represents technology created for the customer, as specified by the customer. They are tailored, customised warewashing solutions that meet all the caterer's desires.
Themed ‘Dream Machines’, the company seeks to address the most desperate wishes of caterers by means of four proven key attributes of the new UC series : - Best wash results, Maximum ease-of-use, Maximum efficiency, and Maximum serviceability.
In developing the new UC series, warewashing specialist Winterhalter Gastronom GmbH has completely reengineered its range of undercounter warewashers. The series were developed to excel in performance and result beside a clear display of the company’s keen passion in resource-conservation, running-cost-saving and user-friendly technologies.
The development of the UC series which cost the company 2.5 million Euros in exploration of new washing techniques and innovation, were the centre of research and creativity for 30 engineers throughout the period of 2 years. Speaking of the UC series that boast of 50 USP (unique selling points), Jens Steck, Director Sales & Marketing, Asia of Winterhalter Gastronom GmbH, says: "Winterhalter is the first manufacturer to develop a machine that allows you to adjust each and every aspect of the warewashing programmes to suit the individual needs of any specific foodservice operation.
